COMPUTARIZED EMBROIDERY
Stitch Development
Recreating Hand Embroidery Through Digital Innovation
This project focused on translating the texture, depth, and organic character of hand-crafted embroidery into a fully computerized embroidery process.

Working from hand-stitched references and using advanced embroidery CAD technology, I engineered custom stitch patterns that replicated the natural flow and dimensional quality of hand-sewn thread. By carefully controlling stitch density, direction, layering, and thread behavior, I developed techniques that achieved an authentic handcrafted appearance while leveraging the precision of computerized embroidery.

The final result captures the rich texture and artisanal character of traditional embroidery, while maintaining the efficiency, consistency, and scalability required for industrial production.
